With an 8 Week Program starting on Thursday 25 July, we have your Thursday mornings covered with a social, fun,#NoJudgement and #NoExperienceRequired program designed for like-minded women!

Ride2Work encourages everyday Aussies to jump on the bike and get active on their way to work.

The problem

Currently two thirds of Australians don’t get enough exercise to maintain their health. At the same time, our cities are being choked by traffic. Health and congestion costs are draining billions out of our economy each year. We must do more to get people out of cars and on to bikes.

The solution

Riding to work is one of the easiest and most time-efficient ways to fit exercise into a daily routine. By swapping the car, train or bus for a bike, you can get your recommended daily exercise without having to spend extra time or money at the gym. We promise you’ll be happier and healthier for it!

ESCAPING YOUR COMFORT ZONE – Mathison Park Churchill

This hike is FREE as part of our association with Make Your Move Latrobe in September.

This Body Positive, slow paced hiking, for women and gender diverse people.

Join us for a casual, social stroll around Lake hyland at Mathison Park. We will walk for approximately 1 hour. After a lovely walk we will finish with a chat and a snack. Please bring a plate to share.

Kids are welcome, either in prams, or if they are able to walk for up to 2hrs. We stop for nappy changes and feeds if need be, it’s all about the company, not a long distance or a speedy pace!

This hike is for all women and gender diverse people. If you are wondering if you’re fit enough for this hike, the answer is YES! We all need to start somewhere and this is a great place to start. This walk is paced for the slowest in the group, and we will be stopping at regular intervals to allow everyone to re-group.

ESCAPING YOUR COMFORT ZONE: Tarra Bulga National Park Hike #2

Because our first Tarra Bulga hike sold out, we are running it again!

This hike is FREE as part of our association with Make Your Move Latrobe in September.

Come along and explore the spectacular Tarra Bulga National Park. Filled with tree ferns, prehistoric forest and stunning, creeks and waterfalls, its truly a slice of magic so close to home. And the spectacular Corrigans Suspension Bridge, lets not forget that!

We will hike for 1.5 – 2hrs. We will finish the hike with lunch at the cafe.

The paths may be slippery depending on the rain. We highly recommend hiking boots, or running shoes with plenty of grip (ie. dont wear your old gardening shoes!). Hiking poles can also be helpful if you need an extra bit of stability. Ill bring a spare pair in case anyone needs them.

Kids are welcome if they are able to walk for 2hrs. Unfortunately, this is not suitable for prams, and dogs aren’t allowed in the national park.

ESCAPING YOUR COMFORT ZONE – Morwell National Park

This hike is FREE as part of our association with Make Your Move Latrobe in September.

Join us for explore of the beautiful Morwell National Park. We will head out on the Stringybark Ridge Track, and take our time as it wanders through the ferns, and up into the gums.

We will hike 2-2.5hrs. There is some hills, but we take it very slow and steady on the way up, and on the way down. The downhill side is quite steep, so shoes with good grip is crucial, and bring poles if you need extra support for knees and ankles, or for stability. The paths may be slippery depending on the rain. I will have a spare set of poles if anyone needs them.

We will finish with a picnic back at the carpark. Please bring a plate to share for lunch. Bring what you like, sweet, savoury, store bought or home made is all awesome!
