Gippy Girls Can Month — September 2026
Gippy Girls Can
Month
September 2026

A whole month for women and girls across Gippsland to get active, connect with their community and feel like they belong. No experience needed. No judgement. Come as you are.

Not a fitness campaign.

Gippy Girls Can Month is about belonging. It's a Gippsland-wide campaign helping women and girls get active in ways that feel welcoming, social and pressure-free.

For every woman.

All ages. All backgrounds. All fitness levels. Whether you've done it before or never in your life — there's something for you in September.

Right here in Gippsland.

Activities and events across all six Gippsland LGAs. Local clubs, local women, local community. Real and close to home.

No pressure. No judgement.
Just come as you are.

Gippy Girls Can Month is not about how fit you are, how long you've been active or what you look like. It's about women across Gippsland moving their way, meeting people and feeling like they belong somewhere.

Confidence

Feeling comfortable and welcome to give something a go — whatever your starting point.

Connection

Meeting new people, getting active together and feeling like part of your community.

Community

Local clubs and groups across Gippsland opening their doors and making women feel at home.

Inclusion

Every age, background, shape and ability level. Getting active together without fear of judgement.

Wellbeing

Moving in a way that feels good for you. Finding joy in being active, whatever that looks like.

There's a place for everyone

Whether you're a woman looking to give something a go, or a club wanting to open your doors to women in your community — we want you involved.
