SkateFIT is coming to Leongatha!

Gippsland Ranges Roller Derby has teamed up with Gippy Girls Can to bring SkateFIT to South Gippsland.

SkateFIT is an exciting, new and fun group fitness program specifically designed to provide a smooth and safe progression through the skills that are required to get fit, have fun and become a competent roller skater. Fitness doesn’t have to mean tedious hours on the treadmill!

When: Every Monday starting April 29 for 10 weeks
Time: 7:30pm to 9.30pm
Cost: The first term (10 week program) is $135 including gear hire. Equals to $13.50 per session!
This includes insurance with Skate Victoria.

Any term after that is $100 with your own gear or $150 if you would like to continue using the provided equipment.

Where: Community College Leongatha, Howard Street Leongatha.

Beginners welcome, dress in comfortable active wear.

Aqua Boards combines yoga, pilates and high-intensity interval training all on an aqua board. Come prepared to get wet, and have a laugh!

The sessions are part of the VicHealth‘s This Girl Can VIC Campaign and a partnership between GippSport, South Gippsland Shire Council and YMCA South Gippsland SPLASH

When: Wednesdays 12.30pm, 1.15pm & 2.00pm
30min classes Max 6 participants.

The 5 sessions are part of the VicHealth This Girl Can Campaign and a partnership between The South Gippsland Shire, Splash Leongatha and Leongatha Gymnastics Club

Coasting is an introductory Stand Up Paddleboarding program for women. It’s a fun and refreshing way to be active and get yourself on the water.

Each session sees you guided step by step with the skills to safely and competently learn how to Stand Up Paddleboard, with maximum time on the water.

Each session goes for 30 minutes with only 4 participants each in a half-hour time block.

The 5 sessions are part of the VicHealth This Girl Can Campaign and a partnership between The South Gippsland Shire, Splash Leongatha and Surfing Victoria.
